Skip Hop Brand Campaign
Skip Hop wanted to showcase their products in a problem / resolution format, showing a day in the life without Skip Hop, being “made better” by the introduction of Skip Hop! While we showed some problem and resolution moments, we didn’t want the campaign to become too full of struggle (We have had enough of that this year!) So, we interspersed lighthearted moments throughout, while gently nodding to this crazy year we have all been through: parents helping parents, the elbow bump we’ve all mastered in 2020, and some comic relief that might be a little too relatable by now (hello #WFH club). We also created some more product-centric mini-spots focusing on the positives of a product rather than the negatives without it: A diaper caddy lighting up a dark room, a high chair becoming a stepping stool.
Each video focusing on the feeding, bathing, and nursery products was broken down into various lengths and ratios for social and streaming use. To keep set as safe as possible, we casted only real families, and kept scene interaction strictly to one household at a time.
